After much competition, the TB Outdoor CAC was chosen as the official knife of the French army. (Some versions even come with corkscrews because, you know, it’s French!) The CAC S200 is slightly modified from the French military model, which has a logo and tan color not available to the general public. This version has a handle that’s heavily textured—or “toxified”—has a belt cutter and is made of sturdy PA6 polymer. The excellent tactical design comes from a collaboration between former special forces officer and survival expert Philippe Perotti and the TB Group. Their survival line, TB Outdoor, has become a leader in military and rugged bushcraft knives.
