Like the Puck from BlackFox, the Nix is named after a spirit in European folklore (in this case, the sprit of water). It’s an excellent compact knife designed by Grigorii Matveev. It lacks the usual flipper; it opens with the help of a front flipper or from the thumb hole in the blade. The front of the handle and the notch on the blade, when opened, form a wide choil, which allows a great grip close to the blade. Larger than the Puck but still compact—this EDC knife is lightweight and tough, and a terrific pocket knife that stows away unobtrusively until you need it.
