25 foot length of OD Green 550 FireCord
Because of its versatility and wide application, 550 paracord is a staple for outdoor enthusiasts. In the great outdoors, one must be prepared for anything. 550 FireCord was created by Live Fire Gear to ensure a ready, reliable, and easy to use source of tinder for fire starting while maintaining the virtues of traditional 550 paracord. FireCord has the same makeup as regular 550 paracord with a shell and 7 nylon cords, but an eighth strand has been added. The 8th strand is red, waterproof, and easy to ignite. Simply remove a portion of the color coded inner strand and rough up the fibers a bit for best results. The remaining FireCord can still be used as you would regular 550 paracord.
